Joseph Garnett Jr./Getty ImagesWith Tuesday's non-waiver trade deadline just days away Brian Anderson Jersey , the Tampa Bay Rays continue to field calls on starting pitcher Chris Archer. Yahoo Sports' Jeff Passan reported the San Diego Padres have made progress in Archer talks, but they still believe the asking price is too steep.Archer is having a subpar year, as he is 3-5 with a 4.31 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP in 17 starts. His strikeouts per nine innings (9.6) are down, and his walks per nine (2.9) are slightly up.The 29-year-old recently missed more than month due to anabdominal strain. However, his track record speaks for itself. Archer has a career 3.69 ERA, and he made the American League All-Star squad in two of the three seasons before 2018. Also, he finished fifth in Cy Young voting just three years ago.Tampa Bay is in a good position regarding Archer. It's a weak starting pitching market http://www.marlinsfanproshop.com/authentic-miguel-rojas-jersey , and he may be the top arm available. Not only that, but Archer is also under club control through the 2021 season, and his salary won't top $11 million in that span.If he can bounce back, that's a bargain.Archer has playoff experience, albeit limited. He had two postseason relief appearances in 2013, allowing just one hit and striking out two in 1.2 shutout innings. The Rays (53-51) are 8.5 games back in the AL wild-card race, so they could concede and continue to build for the future. On the other hand, Archer himself can be a building block, as he is under contract for a reasonable price for the next three seasons. In other words Bryan Holaday Jersey , Tampa Bay should only deal him if an offer blows it away. PHOENIX (AP) — Two nights in a row, Anthony Rizzo has made a major impact on Chicago Cubs wins with efforts that don’t stand out in the boxscore.Rizzo beat out a potential double play by hustling to first base Monday, and teammate Javier Baez followed with a two-run homer. The next night, Rizzo worked a 17-pitch at-bat before lining out, and Baez followed with another two-run shot. That helped the Cubs cruise to a 9-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday for their fifth win in six games. Chicago increased its lead in the NL Central to 3 1/2 games over Milwaukee, which lost at home to last-place Cincinnati.“I saw it all,” Rizzo said. “They were just borderline pitches. You would love for that ball to sneak through, but when you wear pitchers out like that, it’s something that the next guy and the next guy can have success.”Daniel Murphy also hit a two-run homer as the Cubs jumped out to a big early lead. Mike Montgomery (5-5) allowed a run and four hits with a season-high eight strikeouts in six innings for his first win since Aug. 7.“Changeup was really working Brad Ziegler Jersey ,” Montgomery said. “Obviously, this rotation is working well so I kind of wanted to jump in line and be a guy that goes out there and gives us as many innings as he can.”The slumping Diamondbacks dropped six games behind the first-place Dodgers in the NL West and six back of St. Louis for the second wild card. They have lost four in a row and nine of 11.The Cubs built a 5-0 lead after their first two turns at bat.In the first inning, Baez drove a 2-0 pitch from Matt Andriese onto the pool deck in right-center. Baez’s 33rd home run gave him 107 RBIs this season.Ian Happ knocked in Jason Heyward with a second-inning double before Murphy, who scored three times, hit his 11th home run of the season.Rizzo added a two-run single in a four-run fifth.“Overall, we did work some good at-bats,” Cubs manager Joe Maddon said. “I thought the approach was good and we hit some balls really well.”Ketel Marte homered in the second for Arizona, his 12th. But the Diamondbacks’ season that got off to a great start appears on the verge of ending with no return to the postseason.“We still have two feet in this race and I believe something good can come out of it,” manager Torey Lovullo said. “Whether it is tomorrow or next year http://www.twinsfanproshop.com/authentic-rod-carew-jersey , I believe we are learning some valuable lessons.”Andriese (3-6) lasted two innings and was charged with five runs on five hits in a bullpen game for Arizona. Four other pitchers appeared.“Not the way I wanted my first start with the Diamondbacks,” Andriese said. “That Rizzo at-bat kind of made me work hard and kind of put me behind the 8-ball.”HEY, IT’S HEYWARDHeyward started for the first time since being activated from the disabled list on Sunday. He came in as a defensive replacement in right field in the ninth inning on Monday. He had been out since Aug. 31 with a hamstring injury.Heyward was lifted for a pinch-hitter in the fifth.“Jason looked really good at the plate,” Maddon said. “First ball in the gap and second one was really well struck up the middle.”SPRING TRAINING FEELThe Diamondbacks, down 9-1 after five innings, made six lineup changes before the sixth, including replacing star first baseman Paul Goldschmidt. The Cubs also took out several regulars, and before the night ended, Happ had played all three outfield positions.TRAINER’S ROOMCubs: A day after expressing hope that closer Brandon Morrow could soon be back from a lingering elbow injury Brian Dozier Jersey , the Cubs decided to shut him down for the rest of the season. That means their two relievers with the most saves this season, Morrow and Pedro Strop, are out. Strop hopes to possibly be ready for the postseason. … Chicago catcher Willson Contreras took a foul ball to his groin area in the eighth inning and was doubled over in pain behind home plate, but stayed in the game.Diamondbacks: Arizona reliever T.J. McFarland was shut down for the rest of the season with an elbow issue. McFarland was 2-2 with a 2.00 ERA in 47 games and 72 innings.UP NEXTCubs: LHP Cole Hamels tries to improve to 5-0 with Chicago when he pitches Wednesday against the Diamondbacks. It will be his 10th start in a Cubs uniform since he was traded by Texas.Diamondbacks: LHP Robbie Ray (5-2) is Wednesday’s scheduled starter. Six of his last eight appearances have ended in no-decisions, and the other two are wins.
We’re going to take a different approach to this weeks Day After Game Reactions piece. Forget the segmented unit review. This team lost as a whole and we’re going to talk about them as a whole. The reaction to this one wasn’t pretty. There was very little to take away from this game when it came to positives but there were a whole lot of negatives. Day after reactions on the positive side. Peyton Barber started off hot and finished the day with 85 yards and the teams lone touchdown. If there’s one negative to take away from this it’s that the offensive play calling in the second half in a one score game all but forgot about Barber. Barber was the one good thing this pathetic offense had going for it on the afternoon. Barber scored in the first quarter and by mid 2nd quarter tallied 60 yards on the ground. Defensively there were two bright spots worth spotlighting in Lavonte David who racked up 12 tackles including the teams 2 sacks on the afternoon. 2nd is Vita Vea who had a career high in tackles with 9 combined. Vea was very active along the line of scrimmage and for good reason as the Ravens ran the ball via running backs and Lamar Jackson 49 times. The rest of the team filled the game with average to poor play... these are the reactions. Starting up front Womens Demar Dotson Jersey , the offensive line was awful again. Ryan Jensen was blown up in a critical moment yet again as Brandon Williams demolished him en route to a tackle for a loss on Peyton Barber’s 3rd and 1 attempt late in the game. The line gave Winston little pocket and time to work with throughout the game and in turn it was yet another week where the offensive line and play calling combined to hinder any chance of sustainable success passing the ball. Jameis Winston was very average in this game outside of a tremendous circus play which saw Winston perform his signature escape from the rush and deep heave downfield to Mike Evans. The play was the lone highlight from the passing game in this one. That pass aside, Winston tallied only another 93 yards on the afternoon while finishing 13 of 25. One can’t forget about an ugly underthrow that went for an interception. There’s debate as to whether Winston and his receiver were on the same page, tell me if you’ve heard that one before, or if it was truly just that poorly thrown. Regardless, it was another instance of a game where Winston did not look like a franchise savior and looked rather normal at quarterback. Normal/average are not what this franchise needs from him right now and in this ball game the offensive line and Chris Godwin did nothing to help out. Speaking of Godwin, he may have had his worst game as a professional in this one. Godwin had a terrible drop and failed to haul in either of his other two receptions in the game. Better yet, there was not a pass play of more than 9 yards to any player not named Mike Evans in this match. Side note, kudos to Mike Evans for turning 4 receptions into 121 yards. Coaching, game planning and adjusting with this staff appears optional. Dirk Koetter... what are you doing? As the head coach, how do you allow the in game play calls to not reflect the ebbs and flows of the game? You’re quarterback is struggling behind a piss poor offensive line and you choose to not help out with some faster hitting routes... why? You’re unable to throw the ball all second half yet you still continue to force it and get vanilla again with the run game... why do you allow this? That’s right, how silly of me? As Dirk himself has stated numerous times this season, he doesn’t know how to fix this. Mark Duffner, you are facing a still inexperienced quarterback yet you played soft coverage to end the 1st half as you watched Lamar freaking Jackson carve you up... why? Lamar Jackson single handedly beat this Buccaneer defense... how? The problem is the same as it always has been Authentic Jason Pierre-Paul Jersey , this defense regardless of who coaches it simply can’t tackle the ball carrier and play disciplined. The sad part in reality is this, 20 points given up should be just fine for your offensive to out score the opponent and win. But not in Tampa Bay. Final reaction. It all comes back to the top where in Tampa Bay, coaching is optional. Tackling is optional. Blocking is optional. If things don’t drastically change in Tampa Bay over the near future, fandom will soon become optional for many. It’s time to make a statement. That statement needs to be holding those in charge accountable and breaking this staff apart. The Atlanta Falcons finally got the ball to bounce their way. They hope that's the start of more good fortune. After a hugely disappointing start to season, the Falcons snapped a three-game losing streak with a 34-29 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, the game ending on a wacky play that nearly worked. With no timeouts and needing a touchdown from the Falcons 21, Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston surprisingly took off running down the middle of the field. As the defense closed in at the 10, he pitched the ball to his left. Adam Humphries had it briefly but lost control. Mike Evans scooped up the loose ball and lateraled it again. DeSean Jackson had a chance to grab it at the 5 and dive for the end zone, but the ball squirted under his hands and out of bounds.Game over."They certainly had a shot for it," Falcons coach Dan Quinn said. "We've had some go the other way on the final play, so it was nice to be on the side where we were on top on the final play."Indeed, Atlanta (2-4) came into the game with three heartbreaking losses. They were in position to knock off Super Bowl champion Philadelphia but couldn't complete a short pass in end zone on the final play. They lost to the Saints in overtime after giving up the tying touchdown with just over a minute remaining. They fell to Cincinnati on a 13-yard TD pass with 7 seconds to go.This time, the Falcons benefited from some huge breaks against the Bucs (2-3). Demontae Kazee picked off a long pass at his own 1 after Winston overthrew his intended receiver. Early in the third quarter Womens Ali Marpet Jersey , the Bucs had first-and-goal at the Atlanta 2, but Peyton Barber was stuffed for no gain, a false start on tight end Antony Auclair backed them up to the 7, and Winston's pass over the middle was deflected high in the air. When it finally came down, Brian Poole was there to make the interception."We needed that win," Kazee said. "I've been depressed the past three or four weeks."Matt Ryan had a huge game for the Falcons, completing 31 of 41 for 354 yards and three touchdowns. Winston, in his first start of the season, was 30 of 41 for 395 yards and four touchdowns, but the two picks marred his performance. Some issues that emerged from the Falcons victory over Tampa Bay:OFFENSIVE DEFENSESThese teams came in into the game ranked at the bottom of the league in points allowed.Neither gave much indication that they've addressed their defensive shortcomings. The Falcons surrendered more than 500 yards for the second time this season. The Bucs were torched for touchdowns on Atlanta's first three possessions, then gave up two more scoring drives in the final quarter, which is sure to keep the heat on defensive coordinator Mike Smith.HOBBLED KICKERMatt Bryant looked like he might be in for an extended recuperation period after making a crucial 57-yard field goal with 1:10 remaining. The 43-year-old immediately clutched the back of his right leg, limped slowly off the field and headed straight to the locker room. While it wasn't immediately known how seriously he was injured http://www.tampabaybuccaneersteamonline.com/vinny-curry-jersey , Atlanta may at the very least need to bring in a second kicker this week in case Bryant can't go in next Monday night's game against the New York Giants. After that, the Falcons have a bye week, which would give Bryant extra time to recover.KAZEE GETS COMFORTABLEKazee is settling in as a starter in the Falcons' injury plagued secondary. The second-year safety has picked off passes in three straight games , the first Atlanta player to accomplish that feat since Kemal Ishmael in 2014.Atlanta lost its top two safeties — Keanu Neal and Ricardo Allen — to season-ending injuries.POOLE'S HITPoole could be a little lighter in the wallet after delivering a big hit on Winston late in the first half.As Winston glided toward the sideline at the end of a 5-yard run, Poole sent the quarterback flying with a shot to the chest. Tampa Bay center Ryan Jensen went after Poole, leading to some minor scuffling before order was restored. No penalty was called for the hit, but the replay showed Poole lowered his helmet before striking Winston's helmet. That could lead to a fine from the NFL when it reviews the play.LOSING STREAKWhile the Falcons halted their three-game losing streak, Tampa Bay has now lost three in a row after a 2-0 start.Winston said it's too early to panic."Yes, it was a tough loss in the division, but we're still in a good spot," the quarterback said. "We have to execute better, I have to protect the football and we will win games."The Bucs now trail idle New Orleans (4-1) by two games in the NFC South. Carolina (3-2) also slipped back with a 23-17 loss to Washington.Follow Paul Newberry on Twitter at pnewberry1963 . His work can be found at s://apnews/search/paul%20newberry

There are just 13 days until the Panthers kick off the 2018 regular season. Today’s player is wide receiver Jarius Wright.Jarius Wright http://www.panthersfootballauthentic.com/graham-gano-jersey-authentic , Wide receiverBioHeight: 5’10”Weight: 190 lbsAge: 28College: ArkansasNFL Experience: 7 yearsWright was a 4th round draft pick for the Vikings in 2012. He spent his entire career in Minnesota before coming to the Carolinas as a free agent this season. The Panthers will be looking at him to fill several roles. In tandem with teammate Torrey Smith, Wright will be expected to provide a steadying, veteran presence on the field and in the locker room for the Panthers’ otherwise very young wide receiver group. He will also hopefully provide the additional benefit of being an extra coach on the field, as he has several years of experience working with freshman offensive coordinator Norv Turner during their shared time with the Vikings.Wright hasn’t made a strong impact in the preseason, but he has turned a few heads during training camp. He can be expected to be a reliable target for Cam Newton out of the slot and possibly an upgrade as the pitchman in triple option looks over the Panthers’ last elder statesman wide receiver to see time in that role, Jerricho Cotchery. Speaking of Cotchery, here’s to hoping that Wright, too www.carolinapanthersteamonline.com , gets the opportunity to be screwed out of a game changing catch by refs in the Super Bowl this year. Many Carolina Panthers fans have strong opinions about how they hope the final four games of the season will play out and the impact it will have on Ron Rivera’s future. The view of one segment of the fan base can be summarized like this: I hope the Panthers lose the next four games so David Tepper cleans house, fires Ron Rivera, cans Marty Hurney, and BURNS! IT! DOWN!Here is my response to that mentality: If the Panthers win-loss record over the next four games determines Ron Rivera’s fate, then we’ve got a David Tepper problem. Tepper agreed to buy the team last May and has now had a full seven months working directly with his head coach. But even more important, Tepper has nearly eight full seasons of Rivera’s performance to easily evaluate. His coach’s win-loss record, tendencies, mistakes Carolina Panthers T-Shirt , and triumphs are very much part of the public record. At this point, David Tepper should know exactly what he has in Ron Rivera. Based on his business record, David Tepper is an incredibly smart guy who’s used to making tough decisions. He earned his MBA from Carnegie Mellon in 1982 and the university has since renamed its program as the David A. Tepper School of Business. In 1993 he co-founded Appaloosa Management which mostly invests in debt of companies in distress. His sound decision making has fostered the growth of the assets Appaloosa manages from $57 million in 1993 to over $15 billion today. Making these types of investments requires detailed analysis, strategic thinking, and unshakable decisiveness. Tepper isn’t only good at making these types of analytically-based decisions, he’s so good at it that Forbes called him “arguably the greatest hedge fund manager of his generation.” Some fans are viewing these final four games as Ron Rivera’s last chance to salvage his job. Those who want Rivera gone are morbidly hoping the Panthers lose out to finish 6-10. Rivera is certainly approaching the last quarter of the season as if his job is on the line, hence the recent coaching staff shakeup. This mindset assumes David Tepper has something like this written on the dry erase board of the owner’s office: 7-9 or worse: Fire Ron9-7 or better: Keep Ron8-8 record: Flip coinWhile I’ve never met David Tepper, I don’t think one of the smartest hedge fund managers in human history would think this way. In fact Carolina Panthers Hats , I’m desperately hoping he doesn’t think this way. An owner making short-sighted personnel decisions like this probably can’t be trusted to make the right hiring decisions that would follow. My view is David Tepper already knows Rivera’s fate. The Panthers could stumble to a 7-9 finish and Tepper could immediately come out with a vote of confidence in his coach because of his successful career win-loss percentage (.569), playoff experience, relationship with players, and the stability he offers to a team with a solid foundation. Conversely, the Panthers could shock all of us and miraculously get hot to finish the season and sneak into a wild card spot. Even if that happens, Tepper could still fire Rivera because the team has peaked under his leadership and he feels the franchise needs a more innovative, forward-thinking approach. My assumption is the Panthers owner already knows if Ron River will be fired whether or not Graham Gano makes a game-winning field goal in Week 17. As for me, I’m hoping for two things: First Carolina Panthers Hoodie , I hope the Panthers win out. Yes, that sounds crazy based on the Panthers performance over the last month, but wins make me happy and losses frustrate me. I prefer to be happy. Second, I hope David Tepper’s ultimate decision about Ron Rivera is the right one for the future success of the Carolina Panthers, whatever that decision may be.

Panthers fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse. The Panthers head into their bye week with a 2-1 record after a solid victory over the Bengals in Week 3, and fans are feeling a little better about the direction of the team according to the latest results from our FanPulse survey.Last week—following a loss to the Falcons—the fans’ confidence level dipped to just 72%. Now that the Panthers are 2-1, that number has jumped back up to 87%—just 1% short of the mark before the team took the field in Atlanta. The Panthers have given fans a reason to trust them now that they have signed free agent safety Eric Reid, and it’s unfortunate that the timing of their big free agency move was made after the results of our FanPulse survey came in. I’m definitely interested to see how much higher the confidence level goes following this move by the organization. What do you think, Panthers fans? Are you feeling more confident in the team now that they are 2-1 and have signed a free agent safety? If not Carolina Panthers T-Shirt , what do they need to do for your confidence to rise? Share your thoughts with us! D.J. Moore has a running joke with Curtis Samuel before every game about which of the young Panthers receivers is "going to go off" that day.Recently it's been one or the other with a big game — and sometimes both. The two versatile and dangerous speedsters — Moore is a rookie, while Samuel is in his second season and essentially a rookie as well after an injury-plagued 2017 — still have plenty to learn in Norv Turner's offensive system, but their skillset and big-play ability is making the Panthers (6-2) more unpredictable and difficult to defend.Coach Ron Rivera said Samuel and Moore have brought a "different dimension" to a Carolina offense that has erupted for 99 points in the last nine quarters. Both are tough to catch, let alone tackle with the ball in their hands in the open field. So Turner is doing everything he can to get the ball in their hands, not just as receivers, but as rushers, too. Together Samuel and Moore have run 10 times for 159 yards with two touchdowns on reverses or double reverses. They also have 27 catches for 403 yards and three TDs receiving entering Thursday night's game at Pittsburgh."When they're focused Carolina Panthers Hats , there are no young players that I wouldn't put those guys up against in this league because they have the physicality, the playmaking ability, and the want-to," quarterback Cam Newton said of the team's young dynamic duo.On Sunday, it was Samuel who had the bigger impact.Despite playing only 17 plays, he scored on a 33-yard double reverse, a play in which he reversed field and covered 103 yards on the ground according to the NFL's NextGen Stats. Later Carolina Panthers Hoodie , he made a leaping 19-yard touchdown catch in the end zone with a defender draped all over him to help seal Carolina's 42-28 win over Tampa Bay ."He is just explosive and he is a dynamic playmaker," Rivera said of Samuel. "A lot like in the mold of D.J., he is tough to bring down. ... We have a couple of young guys who can be explosive."Moore played 53 snaps and chipped in with a 32-yard run and a 16-yard reception vs. the Bucs, one week after posting a career-best 129 yards from scrimmage in a 36-21 win over Baltimore.Samuel is finally healthy after missing the first three games of this season with a heart issue and most of last season with a broken ankle."It's amazing after what happened last year," Samuel said of his production. "To go down unexpectedly and to fight through the offseason and preparing myself to get back from my ankle injury, and to come back and finally be out there to make plays and contribute to the team, it's amazing."Tight end Greg Olsen Customized Carolina Panthers Jerseys , who has been with the team since 2011, said the Panthers have never had this many offensive players that can tear off big gains with the ball in their hands. He said Samuel and Moore are making a difference. But Rivera is quick to point out the duo hasn't arrived just yet. They're still making too many "mental errors" for his liking."You see some of the mistakes they make on tape and you see certain things in terms of their route running, their alignments and their assignments," Rivera said.Newton joked it may be time to bring a "paddle" into the huddle with Moore's name (Deniston) on one side and Samuel's nickname (Cupid) on the other to "keep them focused.""If they don't focus, they'll let an opportunity like we had slip away," Newton said. "They have to understand where their alignment is, what their assignment is. We ask a lot from those guys and for them to be so young and dynamic they have to be able to digest the things that we're throwing at them."Rivera would like them to eliminate those mistakes before Carolina's crucial final three-game stretch of the season www.authenticscarolinapanthers.com , which includes two games against the NFC South leading Saints (7-1)."They are learning and growing and their ceiling is high, so the potential for them to be better is exciting," Rivera said. "Hopefully we can continue to watch them grow in the next few weeks — and grow quickly."

With the Ravens adding two new tight ends via the 2018 NFL Draft, Williams was seemingly put on notice. Not to mention Darren Waller was also reinstated on Tuesday, which undoubtedly will add more pressure on Williams to produce. With head coach John Harbaugh not speaking to the media on Tuesday and no injury reports released during training camp Cheap Marshal Yanda Jersey , the severity of his ankle injury is unknown at this point. Injuries have plagued Williams’ entire career. In three seasons, he has yet to play in all 16 regular season games. He has battled multiple knee injuries, a concussion, a hamstring injury and now an ankle injuryHis best season came during his rookie year when he set a franchise record with 32 receptions for 268 yards and one touchdown. As for Kenneth Dixon, the Ravens selected him in the fourth-round of the 2016 NFL Draft Cheap Matt Skura Jersey , and many were expecting him to be one of the biggest steals of that entire draft class. He was sensational in college as he broke several records at Louisiana Tech. Dixon broke theNCAA touchdown record, but former Raven Keenan Reynolds later broke that record. During his final season in college, Dixon rushed for 1,073 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns. He also added 33 receptions for 464 yards and seven touchdowns. Once he arrived in Baltimore, Dixon’s career has also been plagued by injuries and suspensions. He has battled three knee injuries Patrick Onwuasor Jersey , and now a hamstring injury, while also being suspended twice. Dixon has only appeared in 12 games in the NFL. He recorded 382 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while also adding 30 receptions for 162 yards and a receiving touchdown. With the emergence of Alex Collins and strong play from Javorius Allen, Dixon is considered to be the team’s third running back. However, his spot could be up for grabs due to the strong play from some of Baltimore’s undrafted free agent running backs. Dixon must prove during training camp and the preseason that he can stay healthy. If he can stay healthy http://www.ravenscheapshops.com/cheap-authentic-michael-crabtree-jersey , he will likely be on the roster.
Rather than worry about those picks Youth Michael Crabtree Jersey , he's busy picking up the nuances of the offense under new coach Matt Nagy.Trubisky is throwing deeper in training camp more consistently, and any interceptions are all a part of the process as he gets used to a variety of new targets."I mean, what's not to like about this offense?" Trubisky said. "I love it. There's a lot of options. We throw the ball around a lot and we're going to balance it with a great running game."Trubisky's passes haven't always found the target, as Thursday night's preseason opener with Baltimore in the Hall of Fame Game approaches. For instance, he threw two interceptions in three plays earlier in the week to cornerback Prince Amukamara. Deiondre' Hall intercepted another pass Friday.Trubisky, however, feels throwing it deep now to build timing will only make big plays easier later. And he credits Nagy's practice approach for instilling confidence."Lets me go out and play and be myself and not worry about mistakes," Trubisky said. "But we do go in the film room and correct them."There is a big emphasis on not making the same mistake twice. Just go out there and play freely and let your instincts take over. And then when we make mistakes, just go back and learn from it. It allows me to go out there and be myself and play freely," he said.Trubisky doesn't want to convey the impression he's laughing off practice interceptions."I'm always mad when I throw an interception, but at the same time I don't care what anybody thinks," Trubisky said. "I know what I've got to do. I made a lot of great throws. I made some bad throws and we're testing and we're getting better every day."Those (practice) mistakes are going to come — as long as we learn from them. It's not a game, so it doesn't really matter what everybody thinks and what everybody sees," he said. When Trubisky broke into the lineup in Week 5 last year under former coach John Fox, the emphasis was on playing it safe and operating a basic offense. His final yards-per-pass attempt average of 6.6 ranked 45th among all NFL passers. It's changing for Trubisky, the second pick in the 2017 draft, as he learns aspects of a more complex passing attack on daily basis."We're throwing so much at these guys, where it almost feels like they're in a tornado right now," Nagy said. "There's so many things being thrown at him."Nagy liked the way Trubisky handled making several checks at the line of scrimmage in Friday's practice."He's adjusting to any negative-type plays Womens Marlon Humphrey Jersey , so if there's an interception, there's a screw-up in the play call, in the huddle he calls the wrong play, he regroups," Nagy said.Trubisky has just 25 starts as a quarterback since he played high school ball, so the inexperience factor must be overcome.Bears receivers say they're seeing a passer more composed under pressure than could be expected from someone with little experience."He's not frantic and things like that even when you get zero blitz and he's throwing to the hot read," wide receiver Taylor Gabriel said. "I'm impressed and I'm excited."There's plenty to pick up in the attack for everyone. Many of Trubisky's targets might line up at a number of positions, further complicating the assignment. Gabriel, running back Tarik Cohen and tight end Trey Burton all have plays from the backfield, split out wide or in the slot.Burton, a member of last year's Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, is encouraged by the way Trubisky and the receivers have built a rapport."Not as many mental errors as I would expect from my previous offenses," Burton said. It's a relatively slow process overall, nonetheless, and the bulk of the pressure is going to be on Trubisky to be ready for the Sept. 9 opener at Green Bay."We're building this puzzle right now, and each day we're trying to take one piece of the puzzle and put it up there and then before you know it, at the end of this thing, you have that puzzle put together," Nagy said.NOTES: Rookie pass rusher Kylie Fitts missed practice time Friday with an arm injury. ... G Kyle Long was given the day off to rest. ... LB Jonathan Anderson and OL Dejon Allen engaged in the first fight of camp before being separated. ... First-round pick LB Roquan Smith remains unsigned. Former Bears coach Dave Wannstedt visited Bourbonnais for the first time and called Smith's holdout a selfish act. "For a rookie to hold out because of some of the fine print (in a contract) it's pretty selfish http://www.baltimoreravensteamauthentic.com/ronnie-stanley-jersey , I think, from an agent standpoint to do that," Wannstedt said. "I mean, this kid needs to be here. He needs to be practicing. These are valuable days. They play a preseason game a week from now. And you do not get these days back." Ray Lewis arrived in Baltimore shortly after the transplanted Cleveland Browns, who were attempting to start anew in a city that had gone 12 years without an NFL team.Selected 26th overall in the 1996 draft after establishing himself as a star at the University of Miami, Lewis had no idea what he was getting into."We had no team. We had no logo. We had nothing," Lewis recalled. "There was nothing to really respect."Over the next 17 years, the Baltimore Ravens reached the postseason nine times, won two Super Bowls and built a hard-hitting and relentless defense in the image of Lewis, their unquestioned leader.A 13-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Lewis helped make the Ravens far better than respectable while establishing himself as one of the best linebackers to play the game. His unparalleled play and unmatched leadership made him an obvious first-ballot entrant into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Lewis received the news last February, and still gets chills thinking about it."That knock on the door was like the first time I got my first jersey," Lewis said. "It was like when you ran home and you wanted to put on your pads. You weren't playing no game, you just wanted to put on your pads because you were part of an elite team. You made it. So, it's almost like the same feeling."He will be enshrined Saturday, joining offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden as the second Ravens star to have a bust in Canton, Ohio."It's pretty clear Ray was the heart and soul of the Ravens for 17 years. If anyone is deserving of this honor, it's Ray Lewis," Ogden said. "He is a guy we all looked to — both on offense and defense — to lead our team."There are many great linebackers in the Hall of Fame. Few of them combined skill and authority the way Lewis did. After delivering an emotional speech before the game www.baltimoreravensteamauthentic.com , Lewis would continue to push his teammates in the huddle before taking ownership of the middle of the field, looking to punish anyone in a different jersey."One of a kind. I think he's the best that ever played," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. "It's not just the on-field play; it's the whole package."Harbaugh acknowledged he carries the bias that comes with coaching Lewis for the final five years of his NFL career. Others, however, back the assertion."He's the best I've seen," said Mike Singletary, a Hall of Fame linebacker and former assistant coach in Baltimore. "If people thought I was good, I know that Ray was better."It's hard to determine Lewis' most notable quality. His ferocity on the field? His teaching and leadership skills? Or was it his relentless drive to win?Hall of Fame defensive back Rod Woodson, a teammate of Lewis' on the 2000 Super Bowl team, chooses all of the above."What needs to be said about a guy who was, by far, the best leader I witnessed in my 17 years of play? His singular focus to be the best player and teammate he could be what separates him from other Hall of Famers," Woodson said."His play was off the charts. He was a virtual tackling machine — and a playmaker. He caused fumbles, recovered fumbles, interceptions, tipped passes. He did it all for longer than anyone who played his spot in the middle."The 6-foot-1, 245-pound Lewis spent countless hours in the weight room and took an equal amount of pride in mastering the mental aspect of the game. He derived great pleasure from matching wits with great quarterbacks, most notably Peyton Manning and Tom Brady."Those two guys were chess players," Lewis said. "The game was one thing Baltimore Ravens T-Shirt , but it was the preparation before the game that was a totally different thought process. And then, every time we walked off the field, we gave each other mad respect."Lewis wasn't perfect. He was arrested and charged with two counts of murder in Atlanta in 2000. Those charges were dropped, and he pleaded to obstruction of justice, a misdemeanor. But questions about his role in the crime were an underlying theme before Baltimore faced the New York Giants one year later in the Super Bowl, a game which the Ravens won 34-7 and Lewis was voted MVP."Ray Lewis is going to be Ray Lewis. He's not going to apologize for who he is," Harbaugh said. "But whenever he made a mistake, he was the first one to acknowledge it."In his first season in Baltimore, the Ravens finished 4-12. In his final season, which he dubbed "my last ride" entering the playoffs, Baltimore beat San Francisco 34-31 in the Super Bowl.It was a whirlwind career filled with ups and downs, and Lewis promises that kind of speech at his enshrinement."This moment for me is one you dream about your entire life," he said. "Savor that moment. You don't have to run a 40, you don't have to do bench presses, you ain't got to do none of that. All you have to do is deliver something I think a lot of people want to hear."And so, whether it becomes my greatest (speech) or not, I'll tell you this: it will have people and myself on a roller coaster that we will never forget."

The Rockies maintained a 1½ -game advantage over the Los Angeles Dodgers, who lost for a second straight day in Cincinnati. Colorado is chasing after its first NL West crown in franchise history.“We needed to win a game,” said reliever Brad Ziegler, whose team stopped a three-game skid. “It doesn’t matter how it happens as long as we walk away happy at the end of the night.”With Marte, the plan is to use the Daniel Descalso a little more down the stretch. Marte made his case to remain in the lineup with his league-leading 11th triple. He also added a two-run single in the eighth for a 6-3 lead.“I’ll be ready whenever they need me,” Marte said.As for the bullpen, it’s been altered after some struggles of late.“They kind of said from about the sixth inning on, everybody be ready at any point,” Ziegler explained.Zack Greinke (14-9) gave up two runs in the first before recovering his command to allow three runs in 6 2/3 innings. He retired 15 straight batters at one point as he beat the Rockies for a third time this season.Pinch-hitter Matt Holliday nearly tied the game at 4 in the seventh off Greinke, with his two-out double to right-center hitting off the top of the wall. That would’ve been a homer in his first stint with the Rockies, but team the raised the wall in 2016.Andrew Chafin relieved Greinke and walked two straight. He was replaced by Brad Ziegler, who retired DJ LeMahieu on a groundout. Ziegler also bottled up the Rockies in the eight.Jake Diekman started the ninth, only to surrender a double to Carlos Gonzalez and a bunt single to Ryan McMahon. Hirano struck out two straight, then retired Charlie Blackmon on a flyout.“We had a lot of chances. Tonight we didn’t get the big hit,” Rockies manager Bud Black said. “They made some pitches when they needed to.”Antonio Senzatela (4-6) gave up two runs in the first and four runs total over six innings. The Dodgers manager, still in full uniform, weaved through the concourse behind home plate, escorted by an MLB representative toward the press conference room. Normally, managers don't need to deal with the mob of fans after games, let alone during the World Series. But Fenway Park opened up the week the Titanic sank and is 106 going on a trillion years old and isn't outfitted with secret tunnels like Staples Center.Several Dodgers fans, stuck in a human traffic jam, unhappy with their Game 1 loss, spotted the skipper and did something most fans never get the opportunity to do: express their displeasure with their team's performance directly to the man in charge."Roberts, you suck!" one Dodgers fan yelled as Roberts scooted past and briskly walked toward the Red Sox clubhouse door, which leads to Fenway's press conference room. Some Red Sox fans smiled.Roberts already never needed to pay for any meal in Boston again, but his managerial decisions in the first two games of the World Series have frozen that status in carbonite for all of the wrong reasons and have put Los Angeles in desperation mode. The puzzling decisions have begun to pile up, and fingers are beginning to point directly at the man at the head of the Dodgers dugout.Los Angeles starter Hyun-Jin Ryu held things together on Wednesday until the fifth inning, when he loaded the bases with two outs David Price Jersey , and Roberts faced a choice. Do you bring Ryan Madson, who struggled in Game 1, or someone like Pedro Baez, who overwhelmed the Red Sox lineup Tuesday?Al Bello/Getty ImagesThe third-year Dodgers manager turned to Madson, only to see his reliever walk Steve Pearce on five pitches to tie up the game before allowing a two-RBI single to J.D. Martinez to give the Red Sox a 4-2 lead that Boston would not relinquish鈥攖his, just one night after a Madson wild pitch set up the Red Sox to take the lead in the fifth inning of Game 1. He later gave up a hard RBI single to Rafael Devers to make it 5-3 Red Sox.So far in the World Series, Dodgers starters have failed to make it through the fifth inning."Madson has been our guy for quite some time and he's pitched in some big spots," Roberts said. "The usage, I wasn't concerned about. He's fresh. He didn't throw too many pitches yesterday. Had a couple days off coming into this series. That part of it was easy and I liked him against Pearce. He's done it time and time again, and the last few times, it hasn't worked out."The questionable pitching changes are already beginning to accumulate. All of this came after a Game 1 in which Roberts decided to take out Baez, who had struck out two Red Sox hitters handily, and bring in lefty Alex Wood to face the left-handed hittingDevers. This despite the fact that Baez has been tougher on lefties (.164/.310/.299) than righties (.246/.291/.380) this season and after Wednesday has not allowed a hit against lefties in 32 consecutive at-bats.In response, Red Sox manager Alex Cora sidestepped, bringing in Eduardo Nunez, who hit a three-run homer that clinched an 8-4 series-opening victory for Boston."Whether they were going to hit Devers with a lead or go to the bench and go with Nunez, I still liked Alex in that spot," Roberts said after Game 1.Roberts' calamitous pitching changes in the first two games have all but buried the Dodgers' chances of winning their first World Series since 1988. The pressure avalanches onto the Dodgers as this series swings over from the frigid New England winds to the Los Angeles sun. And for as much as Roberts has hurt the Dodgers' chances, Cora has bolstered Boston's odds of raising its ninth championship trophy.Maddie Meyer/Getty ImagesCora's success in the World Series isn't an anomaly. Throughout the regular season http://www.redsoxproshops.com/authentic-mookie-betts-jersey , the first-year manager stuck with his players through slumps, building trust in the process. The ability to build relationships facilitated Cora's flexibility in Games 1 and 2, when he started Devers over Nunez at third base despite precedent suggesting the latter would start against lefties. The move paid off big time in the series opener; despite starting on the bench, Nunez stayed ready and came through with the biggest hit of his career. This after Devers himself had already reached base two of three times and drove in a run."He's the reason we're here," Nunez said. "Every move we make, there's a reason. And it's a good reason every time he makes a move.""He's in everybody's corner from day one," said outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. "He's a great communicator. He's a guy we all gravitate toward. He can get down to our level and be one of the guys, but at the end of the day, we ultimately know he's the leader."The reasoning behind some of Roberts' moves has been much less clear. And now with his team down two games and headed back home, Roberts will have less than 48 hours to figure out where things need to change for the Dodgers to ensure an opportunity to return back to Fenway Park for a Game 6. A lot will need to go right for Los Angeles to lock in that return flight to Logan Airport, and the Dodgers know it."You can find out a lot about yourself when your backs are against the wall," said first baseman David Freese. "That's not necessarily a good saying 'cause teams with their backs up against the wall don't necessarily end up winning. But our backs are up against the wall."A reporter points out to Freese that most teams in the Dodgers' position, down 2-0 in a playoff series after losing the first two games on the road, don't come back. Since 1985, the 2004 Boston Red Sox are the only team to come back to win a best-of-seven playoff series after losing the first two games on the road. Freese takes a second to pause to ponder his team's new reality."For sure, but some have, right? Right?" Freese asks. He musters a chuckle. "Correct?"For the Dodgers to have any chance of joining that small list, Freese's manager鈥攚ho surely remembers what it takes from being on that 2004 Red Sox team鈥攚ill have to put an end to his many mistakes.
TAMPA http://www.authenticstampabaybuccaneers.com/cheap-ali-marpet-jersey , Fla. (AP) Jason Pierre-Paul says he doesn't feel he has anything to prove in his ninth NFL season, first with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He's been the most consistent and productive player on a struggling defense with 10 1/2 sacks through 11 games, yet insists he's merely doing his job after being acquired from the New York Giants in an offseason trade."I guess, I'm just doing what I'm supposed to do: play some great football," said the two-time Pro Bowl defensive end, who spent eight seasons with the Giants after entering the NFL as a first-round draft pick in 2010.The Bucs traded for Pierre-Paul in March, hoping to bolster an anemic pass rush after finishing last in the league a year ago in passing and total yards allowed, as well as sacks with 22.Until Sunday, when the 29-year-old Pierre-Paul sacked Nick Mullens during the first half of a 27-9 victory over San Francisco, Tampa Bay hadn't had a player with 10 or more sacks in a season since Simeon Rice had 14 in 2005.catches a TD on offense as AFC thumps NFC in rainy Pro Bowl in OrlandoPack your bags: Jaguars, Buccaneers among NFL teams taking international trips in 2019New coach Bruce Arians confident Buccaneers have pieces to be playoff teamBuccaneers counting on Bruce Arians to help Jameis Winston realize potentialGetting their guy: Buccaneers hire former Bruce Arians to be head coachAlthough the Bucs are a disappointing 4-7, Pierre-Paul's relentless work ethic has drawn rave reviews from teammates and coaches. And while it's been gratifying to come in and be the type of player Tampa Bay was hoping to get, Pierre-Paul reiterated he's motivated by his love for the game 鈥?not to prove the Giants were wrong to trade him."I know I was still the same player, just things change. Teams change. That's just the business side of football," Pierre-Paul said. "Like I said earlier, there's no hard feelings. It's just things change."It's the third time in his career that the 6-foot-6, 275-pound end has double-digit sack totals. He had a career-best 16 1/2 in 2011, when he was an All-Pro and helped the Giants win the Super Bowl, and 12 1/2 in 2014.This year is his most productive since Pierre-Paul suffered a serious hand injury in a Fourth of July fireworks accident three years ago, though his numbers have increased steadily from one in eight games in 2015 to seven in 2016 to 8 1/2 in his final season in New York. With 10 1/2 in his first season back in the city where he played college ball at South Florida, Pierre-Paul was tied with Von Miller for fourth in the league behind Aaron Donald (14 1/2) White Demar Dotson Jersey , Danielle Hunter (11 1/2) and Chandler Jones (11) through Sunday's games. J.J. He's fought through multiple injuries and continues to do that to play," Koetter added. "He's set the standard very high for everybody else on defense 鈥?for everybody on our football team really, from an effort and fighting-through-injuries standpoint."Pierre-Paul, who has 69 career sacks, dismisses the notion that his success is especially impressive considering he's overcome the fireworks accident that severely damaged his right hand to be a dominant player again.Nevertheless, his play has inspired teammates.Six-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Gerald McCoy was the third overall pick in the 2010 draft, selected 12 spots ahead of Pierre-Paul. He has 54 1/2 career sacks, including 9 1/2 five years ago, when he was an All-Pro and came close to ending the double-digit drought."Listen, I've been here a long time, OK. And for me to see this happen is very special. He's going to downplay it. I'm not," McCoy said. "Very special 鈥?something we haven't seen in a long time, man. This dude deserves everything coming his way, and I love him." Personal computers, conservation, pro football, rock n' roll and rocket ships: Paul G. Allen couldn't have asked for a better way to spend, invest and donate the billions he reaped from co-founding Microsoft with childhood friend Bill Gates.Allen used the fortune he made from Microsoft — whose Windows operating system is found on most of the world's desktop computers — to invest in other ambitions, from tackling climate change and advancing brain research to finding innovative solutions to solve some of the world's biggest challenges."If it has the potential to do good, then we should do it Youth Carlton Davis Jersey ," Gates quoted his friend as saying.Allen died Monday in Seattle from complications of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, according to his company Vulcan Inc. He was 65. Just two weeks ago, Allen, who owned the NFL's Seattle Seahawks and the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers, had announced that the same cancer he had in 2009 had returned.Gates, who met Allen at a private school in Seattle, said he was heartbroken to have lost one of his "oldest and dearest friends.""Personal computing would not have existed without him," Gates said in a statement, adding that Allen's "second act" as a philanthropist was "focused on improving people's lives and strengthening communities in Seattle and around the world."Over his lifetime, Allen gave more than $2 billion to efforts aimed at improving education, science, technology, conservation and communities."Those fortunate to achieve great wealth should put it to work for the good of humanity," Allen wrote several years ago, when he announced that he was giving the bulk of his fortune to charity. He said that pledge "reminds us all that our net worth is ultimately defined not by dollars but rather by how well we serve others."Allen, who played guitar, built a gleaming pop culture museum in his hometown to showcase his love of rock n' roll, and funded underwater expeditions that made important shipwreck discoveries, including a U.S. aircraft carrier lost during World War II.Yet in a sense, Allen also lived up to the moniker once bestowed on him by Wired Magazine: "The Accidental Zillionaire ." He was a programmer who coined Microsoft's name and made important contributions to its early success, yet was overshadowed by his partner's acerbic intellect and cutthroat business sense. At the company's founding White Peyton Barber Jersey , for instance, Allen let Gates talk him into taking the short end of a 60-40 ownership split. A few years later, he settled for an even smaller share, 36 percent, at Gates' insistence. Reflecting on that moment In his memoir, Allen concluded that he might have haggled more, but realized that "my heart wasn't in it. So I agreed."Allen was born in Seattle. After graduating from the city's private Lakeside School, where he met Gates, Allen spent two years at Washington State University. The two friends both dropped out of college to pursue the future they envisioned: A world with a computer in every home."There would be no Microsoft as we know it without Paul Allen," said longtime technology analyst Rob Enderle, who also consulted for Allen.Allen and Gates founded Microsoft in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and their first product was a computer language for the Altair hobby-kit personal computer, giving hobbyists a basic way to program and operate the machine. After Gates and Allen found some success selling their programming language, MS-Basic, the Seattle natives moved their business in 1979 to Bellevue, Washington, not far from its eventual home in Redmond.Microsoft's big break came in 1980, when IBM Corp. decided to move into personal computers and asked Microsoft to provide the operating system.Gates and Allen agreed, even though they didn't have one to offer. To meet IBM's needs, they spent $50 Youth Chris Godwin Jersey ,000 to buy an operating system called QDOS from another startup in Seattle — without, of course, letting on that they had IBM lined up as a customer. Eventually, the product refined by Microsoft became the core of IBM PCs and their clones, catapulting Microsoft into its dominant position in the PC industry. The first versions of two classic Microsoft products, Microsoft Word and the Windows operating system, were released in 1983. By 1991, Microsoft's operating systems were used by 93 percent of the world's personal computers.Allen served as Microsoft's executive vice president of research and new product development until 1983, when he resigned after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease. But Allen left Microsoft knowing he and Gates would be forever linked in the history of technology."We were extraordinary partners," Allen wrote. "Despite our differences, few co-founders had shared such a unified vision — maybe Hewlett and Packard and Google's Sergey Brin and Larry Page, but it was a short list."After leaving Microsoft, Allen would remain interested in technology, especially the field of artificial intelligence, which recalled first piquing his interest while he was still a teenager after reading "I, Robot," a science fiction book by Isaac Asimov."From my youth, I'd never stopped thinking in the future tense," Allen wrote in his 2011 memoir, "Idea Man."With his sister Jody Allen in 1986, Allen founded Vulcan White Chris Conte Jersey , which oversees his business and philanthropic efforts. He founded the Allen Institute for Brain Science and the aerospace firm Stratolaunch, which has built a colossal airplane designed to launch satellites into orbit. He has also backed research into nuclear-fusion power and scores of technology startups.Allen also funded maverick aerospace designer Burt Rutan's SpaceShipOne, which in 2004 became the first privately developed manned spacecraft to reach space.聽The SpaceShipOne technology was licensed by Sir Richard Branson for Virgin Galactic, which is testing a successor design to carry tourists on brief hops into lower regions of space.Yet Allen never came close to replicating Microsoft's success. What he always seemed to lack, Enderle said, was another Bill Gates to help fulfill his visions."He was a decent engineer who got the timing on an idea right once in his life, and it was a big one," Enderle said. When Allen released his memoir, he allowed "60 Minutes" inside his home on Lake Washington, across the water from Seattle, revealing collections that ranged from the guitar Jimi Hendrix played at Woodstock to vintage war planes and a 300-foot yacht with its own submarine."My brother was a remarkable individual on every level," his sister Jody Allen said in a statement. "Paul's family and friends were blessed to experience his wit, warmth, his generosity and deep concern," she added.Paul Allen's influence is firmly imprinted on the cultural landscape of Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, from the bright metallic Museum of Pop Culture designed by architect Frank Gehry to the computer science center at the University of Washington that bears his name.In 1988 at 35, he bought the Portland Trail Blazers professional basketball team. He told The Associated Press that "for a true fan of the game, this is a dream come true."He also was a part owner of the Seattle Sounders FC, a major league soccer team, and bought the Seattle Seahawks. Allen could sometimes be seen at games or chatting in the locker room with players.Associated Press writers Michael Liedtke in San Francisco and Lisa Baumann in Seattle contributed to this report.
The Buccaneers had offensive coordinator Todd Monken call the offensive plays for the first eight games of the 2018 season O. J. Howard Jersey , but head coach and former playcaller Dirk Koetter took the job back in Week 10.After the 16-3 loss to Washington, Koetter said only that he “had my reasons” for the change. He expanded his comments on the decision at a Monday press conference.“I’ve been thinking about it a lot, and I think Todd Monken has done a terrific job calling the plays that why he’s continued to do it,” Koetter said, via the Tampa Bay Times. “But in this game, I just felt like the type of game it was going to be based on Washington’s offense, I thought that we needed to try to control the clock a little bit more and try to give our defense a little bit of time — maybe less time on the field that maybe we need to try to run it a little more and use our [run play options] a little bit more.”Koetter, who said he hasn’t decided if he’ll call plays again, succeeded in keeping the defense off the field in the first half as the Buccaneers held the ball for nearly 20 minutes and dialed up plays that put up 501 yards. The Bucs only scored three points, though, and the loss pushed the Bucs closer to a losing season that could cost Koetter his job. 7. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (5-11)LAST SEASON: There's no way to sugarcoat disappointment of not ending decade-long playoff drought on heels of going 9-7 two years ago. Shoulder injury that affected QB Jameis Winston much of season was just part of problem. Running game sputtered Authentic Chandler Catanzaro Jersey , Winston had difficulty throwing deep to DeSean Jackson after speedy receiver signed three-year, $33.5 million contract in free agency, and what coach Dirk Koetter believed was capable of being high-scoring offense struggled getting into end zone. Defensively, team took big step backward, too, finishing last with 23 sacks.THEY NEED: CB, RB, S, DE, DT, RG Youth Jason Pierre-Paul Jersey , RT.THEY DON'T NEED: QB, WR, TE.POSSIBLE FIRST PICK: DB Minkah Fitzpatrick, Alabama; S Derwin James, Florida State; G Quenton Nelson, Notre Dame; CB Denzel Ward, Ohio State, DE Marcus Davenport, UTSA; DT Vita Vea, Washington.OUTLOOK: With Winston entering fourth season, heat is on Koetter and general manager Jason Licht to not only escape NFC South cellar but make playoffs for first time since 2007. Top priority has been improving defensive and offensive lines. Licht addressed sagging pass rush by trading for former Giants sackmaster Jason Pierre-Paul and bolstered run defense by signing ex-Eagles Vinny Curry and Beau Allen in free agency. Addition of ex-Ravens center Ryan Jensen http://www.buccaneersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-vita-vea-jersey , whose arrival frees Ali Marpet to move to left guard, is big, too. Still, there are plenty more holes to fill, especially in secondary where CB Brent Grimes turns 35 in July and CB Vernon Hargreaves III, first-round draft pick two years ago, lost starting job last season.

The Fitzmagic is back.Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter announced on Monday that Ryan Fitzpatrick will start at quarterback against the Panthers in Carolina this week. Fitzpatrick Carolina Panthers Hoodie , who started the first four games of the season, replaced Jameis Winston in Sunday’s loss to the Bengals.Winston threw four interceptions Customized Carolina Panthers Jerseys , including one that Jessie Bates returned for a touchdown to put the Bengals up 34-19 late in the third quarter. Fitzpatrick led three scoring drives that forced a tie before the Bengals drove for a game-winning field goal at the final whistle.Koetter said the Bucs are “just looking at this week” when asked about the permanence of this change and that Winston could wind up back in the lineup this season, but it is hard to see much of a future for him in Tampa beyond this year given the way things have played out this season. As bad as Sunday was www.authenticscarolinapanthers.com , it probably wouldn’t have led to a change if the Buccaneers still saw him as a franchise quarterback. If they don’t, they have to consider the risk that comes with playing him as an injury that keeps Winston from passing a physical early next year would force them to guarantee him more than $20 million in 2019.What kind of future Koetter and General Manager Jason Licht have is another question the Bucs are going to have to answer sooner rather than later Carolina Panthers T-Shirt , so there’s much to sort out in Tampa between now and the end of the season.
Norv Turner easily could have opted to keep traveling the world with his wife Womens Jarius Wright Jersey , writing country music songs and playing with his grandchildren.Turner, who won two Super Bowls as a coordinator with the Dallas Cowboys in the early 1990s, wasn't necessarily looking to return to coaching after sitting out last season. But when approached about the Panthers' job opening, Turner couldn't resist the chance to reunite with head coach Ron Rivera — Turner's assistant for four seasons when he was head coach of the San Diego Chargers. He's also joining his son, Panthers quarterbacks coach Scott Turner http://www.carolinapanthersteamonline.com/daryl-williams-jersey , and has the opportunity to coach a "talented group" of players that includes 2015 league MVP quarterback Cam Newton."It's a unique situation," Turner said.Turner joins a team that has his fingerprints all over it.When Rivera was hired by the Panthers in 2011 — also Newton's rookie season — he brought in Turner understudy Rob Chudzinski as his offensive coordinator. And when Mike Shula took over when Chudzinski left to coach the Cleveland Browns, many of Turner's play calls remained. So it's not like Turner is starting anew. But he does have some new ideas."We are trying to build a complete offense and that will include things they have done here and it will include things they haven't done here," said Turner without elaborating on specifics.Newton said the onus has been on Turner "to take what we have done good and expand on it, rather than just ripping the sheets of paper up and having a this-is-my-way-or-the-highway mentality."So far the two say they've bonded well.Turner was familiar with Newton because Scott worked with him during his first two seasons with the Panthers in his first stint as quarterbacks coach.Turner said he likes the way Newton sees the entire field, but that his goal is to improve the quarterback's decision-making skills."We want to make sure we get all of our eligible receivers involved," Turner said.Turner also wants to see Newton's career 58.1 completion percentage increase significantly Youth Ian Thomas Jersey , something Newton has already said he's eager to work on."That has to be my mentality," Newton said . "We have a lot of guys who can take two yards and turn it into 20 yards, or more. But it starts with me and I have to trust those guys and get the ball to them."The Panthers talked last season about limiting the wear and tear on Newton's body after undergoing rotator cuff surgery in March 2017 by cutting down on his running.Newton is 29 and entering his eighth NFL season. But Turner put no restrictions on Newton, Carolina's leading rusher last season and the NFL's all-time leader in touchdowns rushing by a quarterback, when he spoke after practice Thursday."Every game is different and all of sudden you are in a game where they are pressuring and he puts the ball down and runs three or four times, and then you have three or four runs called. ... so there are games where he is going to carry the ball," Turner said. "And there are games where he is not going to carry the ball. A lot depends on how people defend us. A lot depends on how well we are playing Authentic Ryan Kalil Jersey , too."Turner did reiterate Rivera's point that Christian McCaffrey will be a focal point of the offense, saying that 20-25 touches per game is not out of the question for the second-year running back. The man who co-wrote a country music song called "Things I've Never Done," with Stephen Ray, the son of former San Francisco 49ers head coach Steve Mariucci, is clearly enjoying the idea of doing what he's done for more than three decades. It is, after all, a unique situation for him."I am very comfortable with coach Rivera and the things he likes to do Authentic Luke Kuechly Jersey ," Turner said. "We were together for four years, so nothing is a shock to me." One of the biggest highlights from the Panthers’ 2018 season came from Christian McCaffrey’s monster campaign. He produced 1098 rushing yards on 219 attempts and 867 receiving yards on 107 receptions. He was 133 yards short of becoming the third running back in NFL history to have 1000 yards in both rushing and receiving. The other two backs were Roger Craig and Marshall Faulk. Both Craig and Faulk had more time to achieve this feat, though. Craig met the goal while he played in the playoffs with the San Francisco 49ers in 1985. Faulk met the goal in 1999 when his Rams won the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, the Panthers didn’t play well enough in the second half of the season for McCaffrey to have enough time to meet this achievement. However, he did get an all-pro selection, so he did receive some appropriate recognition for his incredible season. He also made NFL history with this incredible stat below:McCaffrey is at the top of this list, and it is full of wide receivers (with the exception of Reggie Bush). As a 22 year old Authentic Greg Olsen Jersey , he has more receptions than the likes of Randy Moss and Larry Fitzgerald when they were his age. If that wasn’t impressive enough, check out this phenomenal highlight tape he posted:Personally, I believe he will get 1000 single-season yards in both rushing and receiving someday. He is that good. The Panthers just need to perform much better while McCaffrey is in his prime. What do you think, Panthers fans?
NFL season Minkah Fitzpatrick Jersey , but he may not be able to keep it going.Wilson injured his hip in Sunday’s loss to the Lions and his agent Drew Rosenhaus said that early indications are that an absence of several weeks would be the best news to come out of his MRI. The flip side is that Wilson may not play again until 2019.“Unfortunately it looks significant,” Rosenhaus said on WSVN, via the Miami Herald. “The best case scenario is that he would miss a few weeks. The worst case scenario is he could possibly miss the rest of the season. I’m sure the Dolphins will make that determination in the next few days. But certainly he’s not going to be available in the immediate future.”Kenny Stills also left Sunday’s game with an injury, so the Dolphins ended the day with two healthy receivers in the game. They could move DeVante Parker back into the rotation, although his agent blasted head coach Adam Gase for not playing his client on Sunday so that relationship may be strained at the very least. Quincy Enunwa catches passes, takes big hits and dishes out some vicious shots of his own.The New York Jets wide receiver has become a fan favorite for his physical style and reliable hands 鈥?and those impressive attributes have also quickly made him a go-to guy for rookie quarterback Sam Darnold."First of all, Q is a great dude, so it's easy to develop a rapport in that way," Darnold said. "With how smooth he is route running, he's smooth but he's also physical. He's very sudden Authentic T.J. McDonald Jersey , a very quick dude. It's awesome to be able to throw to him. The routes that he runs are very crisp, but again very violent at the same time."Enunwa was the Jets' leading receiver in their 48-17 rout of the Lions in Detroit on Monday night. He was targeted 10 times by Darnold and had six catches for 63 yards and a touchdown 鈥?a play during on which he dragged two would-be tacklers on his back as he reached over the goal line."For myself, I just try to make sure that I'm doing what I need to do, even when I know the ball's not coming to me because those are always going to show up on film," Enunwa said Thursday. "When I can do what I'm supposed to do, he's going to see that and he can know that even when his No. 1 (option) is not open, he can come back to me."Enunwa was almost a forgotten man by those outside the Jets' facility as recently as just a few months ago. After a breakout season in 2016 when he set career highs with 58 catches, 857 yards receiving and four touchdowns, Enunwa went down with a neck injury during a scrimmage last summer. He had a bulging disk in his neck, the culmination of problems he dealt with for most of previous several months Youth Raekwon McMillan Jersey , and needed surgery. A grueling rehabilitation period was next with many wondering when 鈥?or, if 鈥?Enunwa would get back on the football field."I've never had that where I just didn't play," he said, "so that was the hardest part for me."Enunwa always believed he would play again. And not only that. He knew he would re-establish himself as a key part of New York's offense. He gradually worked his way back onto the field during minicamp this spring and was a full-go by the time training camp began. After missing some time with a thumb injury, Enunwa is completely healthy."I definitely missed it and it felt good to go back out there, and I'm excited to keep going on through the year," Enunwa said. "That was just Game 1 and I'm hoping to go out there some more, play some more, take some more hits and give some more hits."At 6-foot-2 and a chiseled 225 pounds, Enunwa is an imposing presence. He's strong enough to line up in the backfield as an H-back to help in the run game 鈥?as the Jets have used him in the past 鈥?and quick enough to get down the field and cause problems for smaller defenders."He's very versatile http://www.dolphinsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-robert-quinn-jersey ," coach Todd Bowles said, "and he allows us to do a lot of things and put him in places to try and create certain things as well."Even before this season, Enunwa endeared himself to Jets fans because of the way he never shies from contact. Quarterback Josh McCown has compared him to Anquan Boldin, who had a similar build with a rare combination of speed and power."I try to be a physical guy," Enunwa said. "I know fans love the hard-nosed player. That's just always been me, so I'm always going to continue to do that."Enunwa took a few big pops from defenders after catches, and it was a relief to him and the Jets that he was able to bounce right back up without any issues."I definitely felt sore on Tuesday from all that hitting going on," he said. "It definitely felt good mentally to know that I'm still able to give those hits and take those hits and still be able to play on."Enunwa was a sixth-round pick by the Jets out of Nebraska in 2014. After playing in just one game as a rookie, he had 22 catches for 315 yards in 2015.Then came his breakout season before being forced to the sideline."He was coming into his own then, he was a younger player Albert Wilson Jersey ," Bowles said when asked if Enunwa is better now than he was in 2016. "Just having sat out for a year, I think it has helped him mentally and he understands what his body can do and he's taking care of his body well, so hopefully that continues."Enunwa is looking forward to the home opener Sunday against Miami, and has several family members planning to attend the game at MetLife Stadium. Those won't be the only eyes on him that day. Dolphins coach Adam Gase said this week his team has identified Enunwa as one of the Jets' weapons who can certainly cause a defense problems. That's something Darnold is quickly discovering himself."It's cool to be able to throw to him and just see how much separation he creates for himself," the quarterback said of Enunwa. "It's fun when you're throwing to receivers like that."

And they’re playing Rascall Flatts at an unreasonably high volume. Colin Kaepernick called them his brothers.Dolphins teammates Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson were the only two players to kneel during the national anthem on the NFL's opening Sunday, and Kaepernick, who is no longer welcome on an NFL sideline, made sure to offer his thanks to them via social media ."My Brothers (Stills) and (Wilson) continue to show their unwavering strength by fighting for the oppressed," Kapernick said in his tweet. "They have not backed down Albert Wilson Jersey , even when attacked and intimidated. ... Love is at the root of our resistance."It was Kaepernick, then with the 49ers, who sparked the anthem controversy by kneeling during the pregame ritual in 2016 鈥?his way of protesting policy brutality and social injustice in America.Since opting out of his contract after that season, Kaepernick has been unable to land a job with an NFL team and is suing the league for collusion. But his voice is still being heard. Last week, Nike introduced an ad featuring the quarterback and his message: "Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything."On Sunday, Kaepernick's message got through to his friends in Miami."I know he has our back," Stills said. "Really, there has been a huge difference between when we first started protesting and now. A lot of people are reaching out and supporting us, so I really appreciate that. To everybody out there ... let's keep doing our best to make positive change and have these conversations and make our country a better place."While Stills and Wilson were kneeling during the anthem Cheap Reshad Jones Jersey , teammate Robert Quinn raised his fist. Niners receiver Marquise Goodwin did the same at San Francisco's game at Minnesota. In Los Angeles, Chargers left tackle Russell Okung raised his fist. Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas and linebacker Brandon Marshall, and Seahawks linemen Duane Brown and Quinton Jefferson, retreated to their respective tunnels while the anthem played. At the peak of the anthem protests, as many as 200 players would partake. On most weeks last year, the Seahawks led the way with the most players doing something to make a statement. Though that number had fallen to 2 to start 2018, Brown wasn't worried."I made my decision. That was my decision," he said. "I wasn't paying attention to see what other teams or other players are doing."The NFL briefly had a policy in place in May regarding the anthem, but rescinded it after the players union filed a grievance, which sent the league to the negotiating table with the union. Those talks are ongoing. Brown said he hasn't heard any word from the union dissuading player protests during the anthem."I don't think that would be the best idea to try to get people to move on from it Cheap Mike Gesicki Jersey ," he said. "The country hasn't moved on from it, so I'm not going to move on from it, either."Among those keeping the issue front and center is President Donald Trump, who sent a tweet of his own several hours before Kaepernick's, taking digs at the NFL, and linking low ratings for Thursday night's opener between Atlanta and Philadelphia (lowest for an opener since 2008) to players who refuse to stand for the anthem."If the players stood proudly for our Flag and Anthem, and it is all shown on broadcast, maybe ratings could come back? Otherwise worse!" he tweeted.CBS and Fox, which carried Sunday afternoon's games, have said they did not plan on televising the anthem. However Cheap Jerome Baker Jersey , NBC did show the anthem on Thursday night (but not before Sunday night's Bears-Packers game), and no players kneeled or protested in other ways. That included Malcolm Jenkins of the Eagles, who raised his fist during the anthem last season but did not for the opener. During pregame warmups, he wore a shirt that read "Ca$h bail = poverty trap."Jenkins, a founder of the Players Coalition which was formed to tackle issues similar to those Kaepernick is concerned about, said he would like to move the focus away from the anthem."I think there's a huge need for us to turn the attention to not only the issues, but what players are actually doing in their communities to promote change," he said. "We're trying to move past the rhetoric of what's right or what's wrong in terms of the anthem, and really focus on the systematic issues that are plaguing our communities."
Cincinnati Bengals http://www.ravensfootballauthentics.com/brent-urban-jersey-authentic , and they have released their injury report for Tuesday. The only change to injury report was the addition of Janarion Grant (hand), who was a limited participant. Similar to Monday, Hayden Hurst, Kenneth Dixon http://www.ravenscheapstores.com/brandon-williams-jersey-cheap , Maurice Canady, and Willie Henry did not practice on Tuesday. If these players are inactive for Thursday, the Ravens may promote one of their practice squad running backs to the active roster. Hurst (foot) and Henry (hernia) are expected to miss another couple of weeks, while Canady’s timetable is uncertain. Canady suffered a ‘minor strain’ during a joint practice with the Colts http://www.ravenscheapstores.com/patrick-onwuasor-jersey-cheap , but he reportedly reinjured his hamstring against the Bills. Baltimore has six cornerbacks on their roster, and Darious Williams was a healthy scratch in week one. With four of their seven inactives likely already determined, it will be worth monitoring if they make any roster moves before their week two game with the Bengals. Of the top six, only Tyrell Williams and John Brown do not primarily line up in the slot. Baltimore does not need another slot man because Willie Snead filled that role admirably last season. After three consecutive losses http://www.ravenscheapshops.com/cheap-authentic-tavon-young-jersey , the Ravens earned a much-needed victory against the Bengals on Sunday. It wasn’t the prettiest victory, but the Ravens made enough plays in the end to escape with a victory and hold onto their playoff hopes. career start at quarterback. Check out all the top plays from Week 11 and vote for your favorite below! Alex Collins 7-yard touchdown run: Collins has largely struggled to get much going this season, averaging just 3.7 YPC. However, one area Collins has been effective is in the redzone. His acceleration and elusiveness is invaluable when Baltimore is within 5-10 yards of the endzone. Here, he does a nice job breaking outside and maneuvering behind blocks from Orlando Brown Jr. and John Brown. Collins 7th rushing touchdown of the season capped off an 11-play, 75-yard opening drive. Lamar Jackson 21-yard rush: Jackson wasted no time using his legs to make an impact on this game. Facing the first third-down situation his career, Jackson took off on a quarterback draw for a 21-yard gain. The middle of the field opened up and Jackson took advantage. It extended the Ravens drive and moved Baltimore across the 50-yard line into Bengals territory, ultimately leading to a touchdown. John Brown 23-yard reception: Baltimore retained possession with under a minute remaining in the first half, looking to add to their 10-7 lead. With 19 seconds on the clock, Jackson made arguably his most impressive play of the game. He escaped multiple sack attempts and scrambled outside the pocket http://www.ravensfootballauthentics.com/sam-koch-jersey-authentic , delivering a strike to John Brown across the middle of the field. Brown did a nice job gaining yards after the catch to advance the ball further into Bengals territory. It set up a Justin Tucker 56-yard field goal just before halftime, which proved crucial in the final outcome of the game. Chris Moore 14-yard reception: With the Ravens down 21-13 and driving into Bengals territory, Chris Moore made arguably the best catch of any Baltimore receiver this season. Jackson’s pass was far from accurate and delivered behind the streaking Moore. However, Moore reached back and made an acrobatic one-handed snag to convert the first down. It kept the Ravens drive alive and helped Baltimore get back into the game. Gus Edwards 11-yard rushing touchdown: Jackson wasn’t the only rookie who had a breakout performance on Sunday. Undrafted free agent Gus Edwards, who showed some flashes in the preseason, led all Baltimore running backs with 17 carries. He made the most his opportunities, rushing for 115 yards. Edwards’ career performance was highlighted late in the third quarter when he scored the game-tying touchdown. After punching it into the endzone, Edwards converted the two-point conversion to tie the game at 21. Marlon Humphrey pass breakup: After allowing a touchdown earlier in the game Humphrey made up for it late in the fourth quarter. With the Bengals facing a 4th & 3 with 1:46 remaining, Andy Dalton attempted a pass to Cody Core. It originally appeared Core had come down with the ball, but Humphrey made a quick break on the ball and knocked it out of his hands. It thwarted a potential Cincinnati comeback and likely saved the Ravens season, keeping their playoff hopes alive.Look out http://www.ravensfootballauthentics.com/james-hurst-jersey-authentic , the national media has started to buy in on the Ravens Following a 20-19 win over Indianapolis in Week 2 of the preseason, the crew of NFL Network’s Good Morning Football had high praise as well as some bold predictions regarding the 2018 Ravens.“I like Baltimore a lot,” said Good Morning Football’s Kyle Brandt. “I think their defense is gonna blow people away. I think they have really good veteran receivers now. I like Brown, I like Crabtree, I like those guys and I just like Joe Flacco. . . Of all the quarterbacks who have taken the field in the preseason of the NFL, he’s the highest rated.”Flacco has received glowing reviews all throughout training camp. That success has translated to the preseason so far, with Flacco throwing for 143 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions on 16 pass attempts throughout the first two weeks. Flacco has exhibited more comfort and mobility in the pocket this preseason than seemingly all of last year. Aside from the shiny new weapons he has at the wide receiver and tight end positions, the biggest factor to Flacco’s improved play is his health. For the first time since 2015, Flacco has been healthy during training camp and the preseason so far. This is important for Flacco as he has an all-new receiving corps to work with this year in Michael Crabtree, John Brown and Willie Snead IV.“I think the Baltimore Ravens are a top AFC team. I love them this year http://www.ravensfootballauthentics.com/brent-urban-jersey-authentic ,” said Brandt. Brandt is clearly high on Baltimore for the 2018 season, but what about the rest of the Good Morning Football crew?“I think this is the best defense in the AFC. I put them right up there with the Jaguars. They are so loaded on defense,” said Fox Sport’s Peter Shrager. “I think this team could compete for the AFC Championship this year.”The Ravens indeed have a tremendous amount of depth on the defensive side of the ball, but will that equate to the best defense in the AFC? Baltimore has missed the playoffs the last three years, so to say they could compete for the AFC Championship is a bold prediction. The Ravens under Head Coach John Harbaugh and quarterback Joe Flacco are no stranger to that stage, however. Since Harbaugh and Flacco came in together in 2008, Baltimore has been to three AFC Championship games.“I think they can challenge the Patriots in the AFC. That’s how much I feel about this Ravens team. They look great,” said Shrager.Fox Sport’s Colin Cowherd also had high praise for Baltimore during his show The Herd.“Baltimore’s been the most impressive team,” said Cowherd. “When I watch their one’s and I watch the speed on the perimeter ... When I watch their line play and Flacco looks motivated ... I gotta tell ya, they look good.”Cowherd previously predicted the Ravens to finish with a losing record of 7-9. After two weeks of the preseason, however http://www.ravenscheapstores.com/brandon-williams-jersey-cheap , his tune seems to have changed.“Here’s what I see, Baltimore’s as good as Joe Flacco lets them be,” Cowherd said. “I watch them right now, Baltimore, I had them as a losing record. I think they’re gonna vie for a number two seed behind the Steelers in the AFC.”Of course all of this hype means nothing until the actual season begins, but it is worth mentioning. Several people believe Baltimore could be a special team this season, while just as many, if not more, believe they will finish as a .500 team and miss the playoffs. It’s hard to buy in to a team that has missed the playoffs for the past three years, but there is no denying that the Ravens have a roster filled with potential.
The Buccaneers Youth Gerald McCoy Jersey , to the surprise of many, are 2-0 to start the season after picking up wins against the Saints and Eagles. Here’s where things stand in the franchise record book heading into week three:Career Receiving YardsMike Evans is inching closer and closer to being No. 2 in receiving yards. With 83 yards against the Eagles on Sunday, he now has 4,809 yards. He needs 120 more to pass Kevin House (4,928) for that second spot.Career Receiving TouchdownsWith his touchdown against Philadelphia, Evans is now tied with Jimmie Giles for most receiving scores all-time (34). If he finds the end zone against Pittsburgh on Monday, he will own the franchise record very early in his fifth season. Career ReceptionsWith 10 catches on Sunday, Evans passed Mark Carrier for second all-time. He now sits at 326, which is 104 behind James Wilder (430) for the top spot. Rushing TouchdownsThe Bucs are still without a rushing touchdown this season, so Peyton Barber and Jacquizz Rodgers haven’t moved up at all. Barber is still tied for 25th in franchise history with four rushing scores, while Rodgers is close behind at 29th (three). With two on Monday, Barber would pull into a tie for 16th. Career TacklesWith six tackles last week, Lavonte David now has 559 in his career. He is slowly working his way toward third on that list, a spot currently held by Hardy Nickerson (680). For David http://www.authenticstampabaybuccaneers.com/cheap-vernon-hargreaves-iii-jersey , it’s all about the week-to-week progress in this category. Kwon Alexander’s six tackles against Philly moved him from 18th to 16th. He currently has 248, which means he needs six more to pass Martin Mayhew (253) for 15th.With his two tackles on Sunday, Gerald McCoy pulled into a tie for 24th with Brad Culpepper (204). He needs three more to pass Simeon Rice for 23rd.Career SacksMcCoy picked up his first sack of the season on Sunday, which brought his career total up to 49 1/2. He is now 20 behind Simeon Rice for the franchise’s second spot.Career SafetiesLavonte David is in a first-place tie for career safeties with one.Career InterceptionsDavid is tied for 17th in career interceptions with 10. One more pulls him into a 15th-place tie with Jermaine Phillips and Jeremiah Castille, while two more brings him up to a 12th-place tie with Dwight Smith, Jeris White and Mark Robinson.Career Passes DefendedWith one pass breakup last week, David tied Brent Grimes for fifth in franchise history with 35. Both guys are 18 away from passing Aqib Talib for fourth. With Grimes on his way back from injury, he could be getting some separation from David.Career Fumble RecoveriesIn past versions of the record book watch, it was said that David needed one fumble recovery to tie for fifth all-time. While that is somewhat correct, it was still an oversight. That listing included players on both offense and defense, meaning the top four spots were occupied by three quarterbacks and a running back. Admittedly, that makes no sense.So... As far as defensive players are concerned, David is now tied with Ronde Barber for most fumble recoveries (12) after falling on the ball at the end of Sunday’s win against the Eagles. He needs one more to hold the franchise record.Career Forced FumblesDavid is two forced fumbles away from a second-place tie with Simeon Rice.Career Games PlayedMonday will be McCoy’s 112th career game with the Bucs, which ties him with Donald Penn for 22nd. Demar Dotson is about to play his 103rd game with Tampa Bay White Adam Humphries Jersey , which will get him one game away from tying Hardy Nickerson (104) for 31st.David is set for his 94th game, which ties him for 46th with Kevin House. The Buccaneers’ quarterback room is just fine Remember when news of Jameis Winston’s three-game suspension broke and it caused mass panic? Remember when people said the Buccaneers absolutely had to trade for Nick Foles or Teddy Bridgewater — who is going to New Orleans — or some other backup somewhere in the league because Ryan Fitzpatrick and Ryan Griffin weren’t reliable backup options? Remember when people said that even when Winston returns, Tampa Bay doesn’t have a long-term answer at quarterback because he lacks what it takes to be a successful NFL quarterback? “Well, well, well... How the turntables...” -Michael ScottSure, you can say that it’s only preseason. But even if it’s “only preseason,” Tampa Bay’s quarterbacks have done a whole lot to quell any worry in the last few weeks. Like Pewter Report’s Trevor Sikkema expertly outlined in his most recent “Cover 3,” what a quarterback does and how a quarterback looks doesn’t have to be judged by the defenses that he is facing. Whether a defense is full of starters, backups or third-stringers doesn’t have much connection, if any, to the field vision, decision-making, arm strength and ball placement that a quarterback puts on display. If you’re not big into Pro Football Focus’ grading system, watch the film on Winston Youth Vita Vea Jersey , Fitzpatrick and Griffin from the last three games. You’ll see big throws, smart decisions and good ball security from all three. With the talent that this team has at the wide receiver and tight end positions, those three things will be enough for the Bucs to field a strong offense. If you’re just into the basic stats, check those out too:Winston: 30-of-41 (73.2 percent) for 388 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptionsFitzpatrick: 17-of-28 (60.7 percent) for 183 yards, no touchdowns, no interceptionsGriffin: 34-of-48 (70.8 percent) for 367 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptionsThere’s a reason that Winston was drafted No. 1 overall in 2015 and has set NFL records early in his career. It’s no coincidence that Fitzpatrick is heading into his 14th season in the league. And the Bucs aren’t keeping Griffin on the roster for the fourth straight year just because they feel like it. All three guys are valuable to this team, and for good reason. This quarterback group has put its full potential on display in the last three weeks. The coaching staff and front office clearly believe in the group they have. After everything we’ve seen, is there any valid reason that the fan base shouldn’t feel the same way?
Money rolling in for Tampa Bay.What is Las Vegas thinking about the Buccaneers and Steelers game this weekend? So far http://www.authenticstampabaybuccaneers.com/cheap-ryan-jensen-jersey , Vegas has pegged the Buccaneers as underdogs twice and both times they have been wrong. In no way am I a professional gambler, and in no way am I telling you to put your money with what I predict. This is really just for fun and something we here at Bucs Nation thought the readers would enjoy after sports gambling was legalized. For those that don’t know sports gambling, I will quickly go over the three main bets that are often placed. Also, the lines could always change and the website you use, could be different from mine. Betting with the spread: Currently, the Buccaneers are +1陆 . This means that if you were to take the Buccaneers with the spread, they could lose by 1 points and you’d win. On the opposite side, if you took the Steelers at -1 陆 Youth Jameis Winston Jersey , they’d have to win by 2 for you to win the bet. Spread bets always have the same odds, which are -110. This means that you need to risk $110 to win $100. This spread is basically a Pick’em’ type game. It’s probably not worth it to take Tampa Bay at +1 陆 . Money line bets: As of Saturday evening, the Steelers are -125. The Buccaneers are +105. In money line bets, all the team you bet on has to do is win. In terms of what the -125 means for the Steelers, you’d have to risk $125 dollars just to win $100 because they are the favorite to win this game. The Buccaneers at +115, means that a $100 dollar bet would win you $115 dollars. The money line on Tampa Bay has dropped over the recent weeks. If you remember, week one Tampa Bay was +440. Over/Under bets: Again, no matter what way you pick http://www.authenticstampabaybuccaneers.com/cheap-caleb-benenoch-jersey , the odds in this case are -110. Vegas sports books currently have the over under at 53陆 total points scored . If you take the over, the Bucs and Steelers must combined to score 54 points in order for you to win. Obviously, the under is 53 or under. So now we get to the part where I try and beat Vegas. Last week, I picked Tampa Bay straight up (+150) (won) and I also took the over 44 陆 (won). My current record on the season is 3-1. I will continue to keep a tracker all season of how I am doing. For now, let’s continue to ride the wave.A few things to consider. Pittsburgh is 6-0-1 straight up (moneyline) in it’s last seven games on the road. Pittsburgh is also 5-1 in it’s last six games when playing on the road against Tampa Bay. So, history says Steelers right? I don’t buy it. In their last five games, Tampa Bay is 5-0 at the spread (+1 陆). The public is actually on Tampa Bay at +1 陆 . Tampa Bay opened at +2 陆 underdogs and in some cases the line has moved to +1. That tells me that Vegas has received big bets in favor of Tampa. In regards to that, 56% of the public is on Tampa +1 陆 and 68% are on the over of 53 陆. My picks: Buccaneers at +115 and the over 53 陆. Even if the over under was 60 White Kwon Alexander Jersey , i’d still take it. It’s going to be a shootout come Monday night. I don’t think either team has enough talent in the secondary to slow down the opposing offense. Both teams have the top two offenses in the league through two weeks, and Big Ben has thrown the ball 101 times through two games. It’s a must win for Pittsburgh, but they have a lot of drama surrounding them and I think it’ll be too much for them to overcome, which is why I picked Tampa +115. Let’s see if we can make it 5-1 on the season. With the weekend approaching, both teams look to get a clearer picture as to who will be available and improving their chances to play this Sunday. For the Buccaneers, there was no change in status for any of the 7 players listed on the Wednesday report and no new additions. Beau Allen remained as a non participant while Vita Vea, Buccaneers first round pick this year, remained limited as he still eyes his first NFL game action after injuring his calf prior to the season. Gerald McCoy and Demar Dotson both were limited and are expected to be fine for this weekends match-up. For the Chicago Bears http://www.authenticstampabaybuccaneers.com/cheap-ali-marpet-jersey , the injury report remains bleek for Miller, Cooper and Amukamar, all three of which did not participate for the second day in a row. As a whole, the Bears have a very healthy group heading into the game with a defense led by potential defensive MVP, Khalil Mack.
