The Cowboys didn’t steal from a millionaire Tyron Smith Jersey , they copped the move from a billionaire! Cowboys putting this one on ice with Cooper Rush and Rod Smith in the game now.Facing 4th and 1 on the opponent’s 42, Cowboys go for it and Elliott gets it. Is Jason Garrett trolling all of us now? Brett Maher drills a 55-yarder, Cowboys up 40-7.Dak Prescott, on 3rd and 7, finds Cole Beasley for six-yards, which is pretty important when you think about it. Not only is it the first 100-yard receiving performance of the year, it’s the first 100-yards receiving since Rod Smith, a running back, put up over 100 against the Giants last season with 81-yards coming on just one play. The last Cowboys receiver to have 100-yards was Terrance Williams did so in week nine versus the Chiefs. The Cowboys offense can’t put it in for six but Brett Maher does give the Cowboys three more! Cowboys lead 27-7.Dak takes off for a big run on second down, he’s having a career day on the ground! The Jaguars aren’t fooled on the bootleg and sack Dak on first down, the Cowboys can’t make up the loss and are forced to punt again. Jacksonville is able to get on the boards after Bortles connects with Dede Westbrook for six. Cowboys 24, Jaguars 7.Cowboys get the ball to start the second half but Beasley is a yard short on third down. Chris Jones is out to make his first official punt of the day, Jaguars ball at their own 30. It’s a quick three-and-out as Leighton Vander Esch gets a pass breakup on third down.HalftimeSecond QuarterAt halftime, Cowboys lead it 24-0.A few plays later, facing a 3rd and 7 at the Jaguars-9, Dak to Beasley again...TOUCHDOWN! On 4th and 1, Jason Garrett goes for it with Zeke and he’s got it. Cowboys are at the two-minute warning with the ball. On 3rd down, Dak, at the last second, finds Beasley over the middle. Another third-down for the Jaguars, another punt after Bortles can’t connect with Westbrook. Cowboys are forced to punt after Blake Jarwin can’t extend his arms on time to make the catch. Cowboys start next drive by feeding Ezekiel Elliott for a 20+yard run...FEED HIM! Later, on 3rd and 11, Dak finds Cole Beasley all alone at the 30 Jason Witten Color Rush Jersey , followed by a nice play action throw to Rico Gathers. Facing another third down on the Jaguars next possession, we have a big WELCOME BACK for David Irving! On the punt, Irving is held and the Cowboys will start at their own 50.Cowboys won the toss and DEFERRED! Jaguars, facing 3rd & 3, toss a short one that the Cowboys defense makes an easy open-field tackle to force the punt. On 3rd and 9, Dak Prescott finds Michael Gallup deep down the sideline for a first down near midfield. The drive is stalled around the 30-yard line, Brett Maher nails the 50-yard field goal to give the Cowboys a 3-0 lead.PregameInactivesCowboys: QB Mike White, WR Brice Butler, LB Joe Thomas, LB Sean Lee, DT Caraun Reid, OL Xavier Su’a-Filo, TE Dalton SchultzBoth DT’s David Irving and Maliek Collins are ACTIVE!Jaguars: CB D.J. Hayden, RB Leonard Fournette, CB Tre Herndon, DT Eli Ankou, OL Chris Reed, OL Ereck Flowers, DE Dawuane SmootThe Dallas Cowboys are at home on Sunday and trying to dig back out of a hole. After dropping last week’s game in overtime to the Houston Texans, they sit with a 2-3 record. If they move to 3-3 by beating the Jacksonville Jaguars, their odds of making a playoff run take a dramatic uptick. If they drop this game, the season is in definite peril.Everyone knows the Cowboys have to improve on the offensive side of the ball, but this is surely a bad week to do it as the Jags are rated number one in several defensive categories. Still, Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and company have to find something that works. They would like to establish the run game, and that might be the better option as Jacksonville is a much better pass defense than run defense. If Zeke can get going, that could help to open things up for Prescott. It’s on Prescott to take advantage as his recent outings have bee sub-par with inaccurate passes and mis-reads of the open player. Defensively , the Cowboys are pretty solid. They would like to get more turnovers but they have done a good job of not allowing points. The Jags offense is no juggernaut and they will be without Leonard Fournette again. Dallas will want to pressure Blake Bortles and hope he is “bad” Blake and turns the ball over. It’s a huge game for Dallas and they are underdogs. They have yet to lose at home this season, they need to continue that streak to stay in the playoff hunt. A loss would relegate them to playing catch-up, something they would like to avoid.
